About the Role
Coordinate procurement strategies, manage tendering processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective and timely project execution for major investment projects.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Head of Procurement to define and implement CapEx procurement strategies.
- Prepare RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, and negotiate competitive agreements with suppliers.
- Work with engineering, project management, and finance to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Build strong, long-term supplier relationships and ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies.
- Draft, review, and monitor supplier agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, mitigate risks, and enhance supplier performance.
- Deliver clear, data-driven reports and presentations for management decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Extensive procurement experience, ideally in capital equipment or project procurement.
- Strong understanding of technical specifications, engineering drawings, and industrial production environments.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- Full proficiency in English and German.
