About the Role

We are seeking a commercially curious and ambitious Junior Merchandiser to join our team. You will use data-driven insights to solve problems, influence trading decisions, and collaborate across Buying, Supply Chain, Retail, and E-commerce teams to optimize product performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain category plans aligned with trading priorities and performance targets
• Analyze performance against plans to highlight trends, variances, risks, and opportunities
• Monitor sales across products, categories, and channels to inform promotion and markdown strategies
• Manage stock intake, allocation, and replenishment to ensure product availability
• Analyze key performance metrics such as sell-through and stock cover to optimize results
• Partner with Buying, Supply Chain, Retail, and E-commerce teams to support planning and resolve challenges
• Support the delivery of key trading periods through analysis and performance tracking
• Maintain accurate merchandising systems and conduct post-season analysis

Requirements

• Experience in merchandising, including planning, forecasting, trading, and stock management
• Proven ability to analyze trading performance and turn insights into commercial recommendations
• Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with Pivot Tables and Lookups
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex or incomplete information
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for building effective working relationships
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
• Growth mindset with an ambition to develop merchandising expertise
• Successful completion of a DBS background check
