About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Performing bookkeeping functions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Managing vendor maintenance, including creating/modifying vendors, processing W-9 and NDA forms, and handling ad hoc vendor communications.
  • Recording vendor invoices in Intacct or Bill.com and submitting them for review.
  • Completing vendor, credit, and other applications on behalf of clients.
  • Processing Form 1099s annually, where applicable.
  • Recording journal entries for cash transfers, payroll, accruals, asset purchases, capital improvements, and client-specific accounting.
  • Reconciling bank statements, brokerage statements, and credit card statements, including transaction feeds.
  • Maintaining client files and records in shared network folders.
  • Responding promptly to client requests.
  • Demonstrating familiarity with financial statements.
  • Performing ad hoc analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience focusing on A/P, Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, and Data Entry.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Expeditious and accurate data entry skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter; independent worker.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and build relationships within teams.
  • Possess core self-management skills: time management, organization, prioritization, resourcefulness, problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented, intelligent, and inquisitive.
  • Exhibits accountability and ownership.
  • Strives for continuous improvement.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be willing to execute Corient’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement.

Salary/Compensations

  • $76,000-$114,000 USD per year
