About the Role
The RIT Inn & Conference Center is seeking a dedicated individual to manage the hotel's linen supply, ensuring all areas are adequately stocked and clean. This role emphasizes guest satisfaction, flexibility, efficiency, and a positive, hospitable demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Provide pleasant and professional services to all hotel guests and co-workers.
- Sort soiled linen and terry, load and unload washers and dryers, and neatly fold clean linen and terry and place in proper storage locations.
- Separate stained linen before washing and set aside for power packing to maintain quality.
- Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets according to hotel standards.
- Operate washers and dryers properly, ensuring correct chemical usage.
- Clean dryer lint traps and washer filters.
- Fold linens to hotel standards and maintain organized stock.
- Stock all housekeeping carts and closets with clean linen daily.
- Ensure sufficient towel supply in the fitness center and pool area.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry room.
- Assist in cleaning vacant guestrooms, including stripping bed linens and removing trash/dirty linen.
- Properly maintain all work equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Report maintenance concerns around the hotel.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries with appropriate sensitivity and immediacy, within 10 minutes of notification.
- Assist in the delivery of cots, cribs, and other guest-related supplies.
- Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with staff for cooperation and service excellence.
Requirements

- Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.
