About the Role
The RIT Inn & Conference Center is seeking a dedicated individual to maintain public spaces, assist with guest requests, and ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hospitality. This role emphasizes guest satisfaction, flexibility, and contributing to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide pleasant and professional services to all hotel guests.
- Maintain public areas including lobby, corridors, banquet areas, pool facilities, entrances, and restrooms.
- Perform cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
- Properly maintain cleanliness and supplies for public areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the laundry room and housekeeping staff restrooms.
- Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment.
- Accommodate guest rooms by making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting when necessary.
- Perform turndown service if required.
- Report maintenance concerns.
- Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly, delivering supplies within 10 minutes.
- Assist with laundry operations, including sorting, loading/unloading machines, folding linen, and maintaining chemical levels.
- Comply with all department, hotel, and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with staff to achieve service excellence.
