Responsibilities

Assisting all guests with the opening of all doors into and out of a car or the hotel entrance itself
Directing traffic flow at the property entrance
Ensuring the entrance is in order
Offering to assist guests with their luggage
Escorting guests to rooms and giving property and room orientations
Storing and retrieving luggage
Delivering packages and other items in the property
Working closely with Valet staff to coordinate assistance to guests’ transportation and transfers
Fostering a high-energy environment driven by passion for excellence
Cleaning rooms according to assignment sheet priority
Updating assignment sheet during shift
Delivering a memorable experience by anticipating guest needs, exceeding expectations, and establishing genuine connections
Greeting and welcoming guests entering the property
Opening vehicle doors and assisting guests entering and exiting vehicles
Ensuring smooth traffic flow at the property entrance
Interacting with guests
Assisting coworkers as needed to complete required activities and deliver amplified service
Smiling and offering a warm greeting to all

Requirements

At least two years of prior experience, ideally within a four- or five-star hotel environment
Ability to communicate clearly
Ability to stay patient under pressure
Ability to approach every situation with tact and professionalism
Comfortable being a team player
Comfortable assisting guests and coworkers equally
Comfortable greeting and welcoming guests entering the property
Comfortable opening vehicle doors and assisting guests entering and exiting vehicles
Comfortable ensuring smooth traffic flow at the property entrance
Comfortable interacting with guests
Ready to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
