About the Role

The Business Development Partner drives new consignor acquisition by growing brand awareness, customer loyalty, and community footprint at the local level through localized partnerships, marketing campaigns, events, and outreach.

Responsibilities

  • Foster partnerships with brand-relevant local businesses, philanthropic organizations, and community influencers to generate new consignors.
  • Plan and execute community events to drive the supply of consigned goods and increase brand awareness.
  • Leverage social platforms to build local brand awareness and mission, identifying engaging topics for the target consignor base.
  • Optimize brand perception through quality execution of events and partnerships.
  • Manage a quarterly budget and ensure market ROI/revenue goals are achieved.
  • Leverage the retail team in outreach, educating them on the organization, cause, and impact opportunity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of direct experience in business development, grassroots marketing, community outreach, or a related field.
  • Located in or willing to relocate to the assigned market territory.
  • Currently in an individual contributor, Concierge role with a New Consignor goal for at least 1+ years.
  • Hit or exceed both unit quota and New Consignor goal for the past 1+ years.
  • Strategic networking skills with the ability to develop, execute, and analyze a local marketing plan.
  • Proven track record for effectively pitching new partnership & event concepts.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of how local marketing impacts supply GMV.
  • Superior planning, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a flexible work schedule, including weekends and evenings as necessary.
  • Ability to excel with autonomy in an ambiguous environment.
  • Strategic planning skills with the ability to understand the big picture and execute detailed plans.
  • High standards for quality and speed, with problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for the brand; be a collaborative, positive team player.
  • Proven record of leveraging past learnings and encouraging new ideas and smart risk-taking.

  • Ability to travel up to 75% within the assigned area.

Salary/Compensations

  • $100,000.00-$112,000.00 (Base Salary)
  • $125,000.00-$140,000.00 (On-Target Earnings including target incentive compensation)
