About the Role
The Airport Charges & Lease Specialist is responsible for the accurate processing, validation, and reporting of airport-related billings and lease activities. The role ensures data integrity, strong documentation, and clear reporting across all airport charges and lease transactions, enabling reliable visibility for decision-making. It serves as a key coordination point between various internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and compliant billing and data flows.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key contact for contract management for agreements with airport authorities and lease data, ensuring accurate interpretation, maintenance, and application of lease terms across systems, records, and reporting.
- Serve as a key participant in the development of the automated lease database and act as its administrator, ensuring data integrity, structure, and ongoing maintenance.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of airport authority billings, validating charges against agreements and supporting documentation.
- Administer lease-related billing (tenant and internal), ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with contract terms.
- Maintain ownership of rates and leases data, ensuring consistency, traceability, and integrity across systems and reports.
- Maintains and governs centralized data sources, including gate allocation databases, lease management systems, and space occupancy records, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and effective utilization of airport assets.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, reconciling data across multiple inputs and systems.
- Produce regular and ad hoc reporting on airport charges, lease activity, and key variances to support oversight and decision-making.
- Develop, maintain, and improve datasets and tracking tools to support billing visibility and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure documentation and supporting records are complete, structured, and audit-ready.
- Monitor compliance with billing terms, lease agreements, and airport fee structures.
- Coordinate closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other internal stakeholders to align billing and resolve issues.
- Act as the primary coordination point on billing inquiries and lease-related data.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes through reliable data preparation and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve billing processes, reduce manual handling, and enhance data quality and reporting efficiency.
- Assist various members of the team on administrative matters.
Requirements
