About the Role
Join a growing team where you'll work side-by-side with experienced Press Operators, learning the setup, operation, and maintenance of industry-leading Gallus flexographic printing presses used to manufacture functional labels. This role offers a defined career path, allowing Press Assistants to build their skills and advance to Press Operator through a comprehensive three-module training program.
Responsibilities
- Assist Press Operator by ensuring they have the proper material and supplies.
- Help set up new jobs by installing plates, cylinders, rollers, dies and screens.
- Ensure rolls of raw material are mounted on the unwind shaft during production run.
- Perform total preventive maintenance on the press and all equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.
- Moving objects up to 50 pounds.
