About the Role
This role leads the Growth Channels team, responsible for three channels that share a common motion: scalable, economics-driven partner acquisition and activation at volume. Those channels are affiliate networks, travel agents, longtail publishers, and affiliates, and gift cards.
Responsibilities
- Define portfolio strategy and channel economics, allocating budget, commissions, time, and headcount against profitable growth targets.
- Own the partner pipeline and prioritization across all three channels, deciding what to scale and what to park.
- Scale affiliate networks by structuring deals, running campaigns, proving incrementality, and tightening governance.
- Build the Travel Agents channel into a growth bet by developing an SMB-style partner acquisition motion and lifecycle stack.
- Land and validate Gift Cards by standing up the BD motion, partner economics, and product/lifecycle stack.
- Incubate new partnership models by defining viability, building minimum operating models, and making scale/handoff/kill decisions.
- Build the operating system for a lean team, hiring and coaching staff, and developing cadences, dashboards, and playbooks.
- Set the bar for team performance, tracking quality, activation rates, time-to-first-transaction, and retention.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Partnerships lead on shared infrastructure and consistent incrementality standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years in growth marketing or partnerships, with at least 3 leading a partner/affiliate, B2B, or B2B2C growth function at a marketplace, two-sided platform, or SMB-led product.
- Experience building partner acquisition motions (referral programs, SEO/organic plays, SaaS marketplace listings, community channels) and converting small business partners at scale.
- Proficiency in affiliate and deal mechanics, including commission design, tiering, caps, placements, promo strategy, and partner governance.
- Strong analytical skills with fluency in attribution trade-offs, holdout tests, cannibalization checks, and multi-channel vs. last-click analysis.
- Experience with lifecycle management, including activation and retention via product and email (onboarding flows, time-to-first-sale, performance digests, win-back).
- Proven people leadership and operational excellence, including hiring, coaching, and running teams.
- Ability to build systems and dashboards that enable team scalability.
- Cross-functional credibility, with experience partnering with Product, Finance, and Legal.
- Ability to move fast without burning bridges.
