About the Role

We are seeking a Vertical Video Producer to lead GetYourGuide's vertical video production strategy, formats, and creative standards across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. This hands-on role focuses on building a social-first content engine through compelling storytelling and a deep understanding of short-form video consumption.

Responsibilities

  • Build the vertical video strategy, defining GetYourGuide's look, feel, and content formats for IG Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Own end-to-end production, from concept to delivery, including planning, shooting, editing, and publishing short-form video content.
  • Drive creative ideation with a consistent pipeline of content ideas based on platform trends, storytelling, and audience understanding.
  • Establish repeatable formats and scalable content frameworks to ensure consistent output without sacrificing originality or quality.
  • Leverage a network of freelance videographers, editors, and creative talent, managing relationships and maintaining quality standards.
  • Monitor platform developments, emerging formats, and creator trends to identify content opportunities.
  • Collaborate with social, editorial, and brand teams to align vertical video with wider campaigns and priorities.
  • Contribute to the editorial calendar and planning cycles with a 3-month view of content hypotheses and opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in social video production and content creation, preferably within a consumer brand, media company, or editorial team.
  • A strong vertical video portfolio showcasing creative range and platform fluency on TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
  • Demonstrated storytelling ability with a sharp instinct for audience resonance and emotional connection.
  • Full production capability, including operating camera equipment, directing talent, and editing short-form content.
  • Hands-on editing proficiency using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Platform-native thinking, understanding the nuances of TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
  • An established network of freelance videographers, editors, motion designers, and on-screen talent.
  • Organized and proactive approach to managing content pipelines and identifying blockers.
  • Experience producing shoots in European cities, handling logistics, local talent, and permits.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages like German, French, Spanish, or Italian are a plus.
  • Openness to using AI-enabled tools for production efficiency.
