About the Role
VERG-Brooklyn is seeking a Neurology Veterinary Technician to join their growing team, playing a vital role in delivering care for patients with complex illnesses and supporting board-certified internists, emergency clinicians, and specialists.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key liaison between Neurologists and clients, communicating patient updates, diagnostics, and care plans.
- Support a wide range of neurology procedures, including assisting with neurologic exams.
- Educate clients on monitoring and managing their pets' conditions at home.
- Assist with advanced diagnostic procedures.
- Ensure proper equipment setup and maintenance.
- Guide clients through home care instructions for treatments such as seizure intervention, recumbent care, and immunosuppressive medications.
Requirements
- Licensed or Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT).
- Must be available for a full-time, 4-day work schedule (Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday).
- Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience.
- Preferably with Neurology experience in a specialty setting.
