About the Role
T&J Companies is seeking a detail-oriented, technology-driven individual for a part-time accounting position. This role will focus on AP, AR, Payroll Entry, Credit Card Receipt Reconciliation, and other daily accounting tasks, providing essential support and redundancy within the accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Perform accounts receivable collections and reconciliation.
- Reconcile accounts payable.
- Enter and code accounts payable.
- Enter payroll data.
- Code and reconcile credit card receipts.
- Complete other administrative tasks related to the above items.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass a drug test and background check prior to starting work.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, OneDrive).
- Experience with ADP, Sage Intacct, Ramp.
- Comfortable working within multiple software platforms and online billing portals.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment.
