About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent driving position with a Monday-Friday schedule and a 06:00 start time. The role involves local work within the GTA, starting and ending in the yard. Owner-Operators (Brokers) are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Driving equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Performing drop/pick, tailgate, retail store delivery, live load, and dock-to-dock tasks
• Completing all applicable paperwork electronically, including PTIs
• Using and maintaining ISAAC ELD software
• Communicating effectively with Dispatch
• Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and co-workers
• Performing physical work, including lifting in excess of 50lbs
• Observing and complying with Ministry of Transportation and Highway Traffic Act regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Clean drivers abstract and CVOR
• Satisfactory pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Satisfactory random drug and alcohol testing
• Valid AZ License
• Satisfactory current background screening (Criminal and Judicial Matters)
• Owner-operators must have a truck not more than 10 years old (2015)
