About the Role
We are a global department with offices in Germany, Switzerland, and Singapore, responsible for managing Corporate Actions transactions and processes, including announcements, instructions, and payments.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring of capital measures, including any instruction deadlines
- Issuing instructions to custodian/subscription agents
- Booking of voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, considering withholding and foreign capital gains taxes
- Clarification of discrepancies arising from corporate actions (cash and securities)
- Handling inquiries from/to custodian agents, banks, and wealth management
Requirements
- Initial professional experience in the back office of a bank
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility and willingness to learn
- Team player with a high degree of motivation to continuously learn and grow
- Ability to work independently in a highly demanding, fast-paced, and complex environment
- Fluent German and good English language skills
Skills
- Corporate Actions experience
- Knowledge of the Avaloq Core Banking System
- Knowledge of additional languages
