About the Role

As a Data Analyst embedded in the Banking Foundations (Customer Risk Lifecycle) team, you will enable data-driven decisions for the CRL business segment, focusing on the AFC Operations function. You will monitor, measure, and analyze initiative effectiveness, drive business segment strategy, establish a data mindset, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear and measurable targets based on initiative scope and improve forecasting and goal-setting capabilities.
  • Serve as the internal go-to person for data-related questions within your teams.
  • Support product experimentation and testing initiatives, including designing test plans, aligning stakeholders, executing analysis, and delivering actionable insights.
  • Share learnings through clear documentation and concise communication.
  • Assist in building analytics foundations by collaborating with technical peers to enable product teams to interact with data independently.
  • Build dashboards for teams to monitor impact on company OKRs.
  • Educate teams on data access and understanding through training and workshops to foster a data-driven culture.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to utilize shared platforms, insights, and innovations.
  • Support discovery of new product ideas, identification of user friction points, and business opportunities.
  • Evaluate continuous releases to ensure they meet business goals using experimental or observational methods.
  • Combine qualitative and quantitative research with UX researchers for better product hypotheses.
  • Ensure necessary data for future evaluation is captured during product development by setting up tracking events or as part of the backend service.
  • Drive quantitative analysis for your segment, taking responsibility for insights and business discovery.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience within the Product or Analytics field.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods used in the analysis of experimental and observational data.
  • Highly experienced with SQL and Python/R for analytics.
  • Experience working with one or more common data visualization tools (Tableau, Metabase, Looker, Superset, etc).
  • Good presentation skills and communication skills.
  • Experience in high growth startups managing topics like Fraud or AFC is a plus.
  • Experience in quantitative research is a plus.
  • Experience in fintech is a plus.
