About the Role

The Digital Showroom team is reimagining B2B sales enablement by building a sophisticated platform that provides sales teams with seamless, read-only access to rich product data sourced directly from Akeneo's PIM. This multi-tenant SaaS application serves many organizations from one platform, each with isolated data that maps large, complex product datasets into a fast, searchable experience for business users. You will engineer solutions that empower Sales Executives in e-commerce to find product information instantly, with potential future extensions into AI-powered natural-language search, private showrooms, and CPQ integrations.

Responsibilities

Shape the future of a serverless cloud environment by architecting scalable solutions on GCP, leveraging Node.js, React, and Next.js.
Deliver high-quality software solutions by taking ownership of technical initiatives within your team's project domain, balancing short-term implementation with long-term maintainability.
Proactively consider customer use cases and support tickets to identify edge cases, suggest improvements, and address customer pain points.
Work cross-functionally with team members and key stakeholders across product initiatives.
Grow into a senior engineer by actively participating in code reviews, pairing, and engaging with the wider Staff Engineering group.

Requirements

Proficiency within a Cloud environment utilizing JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem technologies (Node.js, React, Next.js) and GCP.
Ability to dig deep to understand the 'Why' behind requirements, uncover root causes during debugging, and leverage existing patterns.
Treat quality as foundational, leveraging automated testing (TDD mindset) and proactively identifying edge cases.
Thrive when given clear problems to solve with autonomy, knowing when to raise questions and ask for help when blocked.
Communicate clearly, back technical choices with data, and foster a collaborative environment.
Use AI tools to reason through complex problems, explore solutions, and learn faster.
