We are looking for dedicated geologists and geotechnical engineers (all genders) who will support our environmental projects, construction projects, or raw material analyses with an analytical eye and enthusiasm. Responsibilities
- Independently create geotechnical reports, ground condition assessments, and expert opinions.
- Develop ground models and derive soil parameters for pile and shallow foundations.
- Perform stability and settlement calculations and develop load-bearing foundation concepts.
- Assess drill cores, record stratigraphic logs, and provide geotechnical support during construction execution.
- Take over excavation pit acceptances and act as an on-site contact person.
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in Geology, Geography, Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnics/Foundation Engineering, or a comparable field.
- Ideally, possess initial professional experience as a geotechnical expert; career starters are also welcome.
- Knowledge in assessing the stability of slopes and earthworks, as well as in soil improvement, or motivation to acquire this knowledge.
- Proficiency in MS Office and GGU software.
- GIS knowledge, particularly in QGIS, is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, self-responsibility, and appreciation for teamwork.
- German language skills at least at C1 level.
