About the Role
The Financial Analyst III provides daily oversight of analysts, assists with departmental reports and projects, and ensures accurate financial information is provided to senior management for decision-making. All functions are performed within company policies, internal control standards, and generally accepted accounting principles.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise and conduct financial analyses.
- Assist Manager and Analysts in preparing the annual operating and capital expenditure budgets.
- Modify and maintain the Daily Operation Report expenses, focusing on accuracy and updated reporting.
- Review and provide input on financial analysis of operations and marketing events.
- Partner with operations managers to ensure department systems and tools drive overall efficiency.
- Prepare monthly reports summarizing results of marketing events.
- Develop, create and maintain ad hoc reports using SQL Server Report Builder and Bally Business Intelligence.
- Assist with maintenance and validation of budgeting and reporting software.
- Attend and participate in monthly financial reviews.
- Ensure all subordinate employees abide by all internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate professionally.
- Maintain a professional work environment.
- Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
- Complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months.
- Attend all necessary meetings.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to evaluate and draw implications and conclusions from statistical reports and other business reports.
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
- Critical thinking skills are essential.
- Ability to write correspondence and speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
- Ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees.
- Ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Demonstrate leadership, fairness, and sensibility to customers and employees.
- Possess ability to instill a sense of pride and personal responsibility in subordinate employees.
- Must be able to stand, walk and move through all areas of the property.
- Must be able to work occasional nights, weekends and holidays.
- Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, noisy casino environment.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
- Experience with MS Access and Word.
- Experience with Infinium, Showcase, ACSC, SQL and Tableau queries preferred.

Experience Level

Salary/Compensations
- $68,697.18
- Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education.
