About the Role
NIKE retail stores are looking for a Retail Assistant, also known as an "Athlete", to provide world-class service to consumers. This role involves assisting with training, supporting various store departments, and recommending products to meet sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional consumer service and product knowledge to deliver a premium brand experience.
- Assist retail leads and floor managers in training new employees.
- Support various store departments including operating the cash register, managing goods, refilling products, and building visual displays.
- Recommend appropriate products to reach sales targets.
- Utilize knowledge of digital devices to connect online and offline sales or services.
- Inform consumers and new teammates about NIKE products and services.
- Improve personal knowledge through available tools and training courses to stay updated on sales trends, products, services, and culture.
Requirements
- Customer service and/or retail experience preferred.
- Effective communicator, brand ambassador, and collaborative teammate.
- Demonstrated ability to apply product sales techniques.
- Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
