About the Role
We are seeking highly motivated, well-trained Physician Assistants to join our growing OB team as we expand into the future with our brand new, state of the art Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns. Join our dynamic and supportive team as a PA specializing in both Gynecology and Obstetrics. This role offers a unique blend of clinical experience—66% Gynecology and 33% Obstetrics—allowing you to thrive in all aspects of women’s health.
Responsibilities
- Admit patients to labor & delivery and antepartum services as needed.
- Function as an integral member of the OB team.
- Assist with labor floor/postpartum emergencies and cesarean sections.
- First assist in the operating room.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
- Current NYS licensure.
- NCCPA certification.
- All roles require on-site presence.
- Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
