About the Role
As a Manager or Senior Manager at True North Insights, you will lead talented teams, solve complex client challenges, and help shape our service delivery as we scale globally. You will develop people, improve processes, and work alongside senior leadership, gaining exposure to fast-moving industries and high-impact business decisions. Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of strategic client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery while driving long-term account growth and client satisfaction.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of associates, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a cultural ambassador for True North Insights, leading by example with a competitive mindset, relentless drive, and commitment to winning.
- Partner directly with leading management consulting firms, institutional investors, and healthcare & life sciences organizations to execute complex, time-sensitive research engagements.
- Identify, recruit, and engage senior industry experts to deliver high-quality insights across a broad range of industries and business topics.
- Monitor team performance, coaching against key metrics and ensuring individual and team goals are consistently achieved.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, client experience, and operational efficiency, and take ownership of implementing meaningful improvements.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Compliance, Recruiting, and International teams to deliver seamless client experiences and support company growth.
- Contribute ideas, challenge existing processes, and help build scalable solutions as the company continues its rapid global expansion.
- Support clients and engage industry experts across global markets, with occasional work outside standard business hours as project needs require.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1.5–5 years of experience within an expert network or primary research firm. Exceptional candidates with directly relevant client-side experience may also be considered.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional client service in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop junior team members while driving accountability and performance.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth environment where priorities evolve quickly.
- A collaborative leader who leads by example, takes ownership, and thrives in a high-performance, entrepreneurial culture.
- Direct experience supporting Tier 1 or Tier 2 global management consulting firms on commercial due diligence, growth strategy, market assessments, operational improvement, or similar engagements.
- Deep understanding of the pace, service expectations, and relationship management required to support consulting clients.
- Professional fluency in English required.

- NYC: $86,000–$95,000 for Manager
- $100,000–$110,000 for Senior Manager
- Target first-year total compensation: $116,000–$151,000+ (inclusive of uncapped quarterly performance bonuses and equity awards)
