About the Role
The Oracle HCM Payroll Analyst is responsible for processing high-volume, multi-entity U.S. payrolls within Oracle Cloud HCM (Fusion). This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze and resolve complex payroll issues while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll processing.
Responsibilities
- Process full-cycle payrolls (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly) in Oracle Cloud HCM.
- Manage Payroll Relationships, retroactive pay, cost allocations, payroll calculations, and QuickPays.
- Upload and maintain payroll data using HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader (HSDL).
- Audit payroll transactions, deductions, tax withholdings, garnishments, and retirement contributions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Balance payroll across multiple legal entities and federal, state, and local tax jurisdictions.
- Process employee transfers between legal entities while ensuring accurate tax treatment.
- Review payroll registers, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues prior to payroll completion.
- Analyze payroll processes, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and recommend system enhancements.
- Develop and maintain payroll reports to support reconciliation and auditing activities.
- Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience using Oracle Cloud HCM (Fusion) Payroll.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations, FLSA, multi-state taxation, and payroll compliance.
- Experience processing payroll for multiple legal entities and corporate structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and resolve payroll issues.
- Ability to manage multiple payroll cycles while meeting strict deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience supporting venue, entertainment, or tipped employee populations.
- Experience processing payroll for unionized workforces.
