About the Role
The Bell Person/Door Person is responsible for greeting, receiving, and welcoming all hotel guests. As part of the Reception team, you will be the first person to greet guests, making exceptional attention to detail vital. Responsibilities include meeting and greeting guests, luggage handling and storage, doorman duties, and managing deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Greet and bid farewell to guests in a friendly manner
- Secure and organize storage of luggage
- Hail taxis when required
- Familiarize guests with the neighborhood
Requirements
- Customer Service experience
- Excellent knowledge of NYC
- Must be in good physical condition
- Proficient in lifting and handling techniques
- Able to lift 50 pounds
