About the Role
This role offers an opportunity to bring structure, insight, and control to complex renewable energy projects, supporting investment decisions, risk management, and project performance. You will be a core member of the project leadership team, coordinating project controls activities and providing accurate project information and performance insight.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and integrating project controls activities across planning, cost control, and document management.
- Maintaining integrated project baselines, including schedules, costs, and key milestones.
- Supporting risk, opportunity, change, and decision management processes.
- Managing project actions and helping ensure agreed actions are completed.
- Producing project performance reports covering cost, schedule, risk, and forecasting data.
- Preparing materials for governance forums, investment decisions, and key project reviews.
- Supporting Project Directors with project performance monitoring and reporting.
- Acting as a key link between project teams and portfolio or PMO functions.
- Maintaining project documentation, registers, and governance records.
- Promoting best practice and continuous improvement across project controls activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Project Controls Manager or senior project controls role within large capital or infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting Project Managers with risk management, change management, and project performance management.
- Experience preparing project reporting for senior internal stakeholders and external investors or project partners.
- Understanding of project governance and lifecycle controls within complex project environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6, alongside experience using cost control systems and document management systems.
