About the Role

This role offers an opportunity to bring structure, insight, and control to complex renewable energy projects, supporting investment decisions, risk management, and project performance. You will be a core member of the project leadership team, coordinating project controls activities and providing accurate project information and performance insight.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and integrating project controls activities across planning, cost control, and document management.
  • Maintaining integrated project baselines, including schedules, costs, and key milestones.
  • Supporting risk, opportunity, change, and decision management processes.
  • Managing project actions and helping ensure agreed actions are completed.
  • Producing project performance reports covering cost, schedule, risk, and forecasting data.
  • Preparing materials for governance forums, investment decisions, and key project reviews.
  • Supporting Project Directors with project performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Acting as a key link between project teams and portfolio or PMO functions.
  • Maintaining project documentation, registers, and governance records.
  • Promoting best practice and continuous improvement across project controls activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Project Controls Manager or senior project controls role within large capital or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience supporting Project Managers with risk management, change management, and project performance management.
  • Experience preparing project reporting for senior internal stakeholders and external investors or project partners.
  • Understanding of project governance and lifecycle controls within complex project environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6, alongside experience using cost control systems and document management systems.
