About the Role
As a Senior People Manager, you will bring essential experience to our People Team, reporting directly to the management. You will work closely with the team to elevate employee and leadership development, career paths, performance, and organizational development with a modern approach.
Responsibilities
- Develop leaders, providing sparring on feedback, conflict, and employee development to ensure they fulfill their role as Talent Developers.
- Implement consistent performance reviews, development plans, and relevant learning opportunities.
- Establish a job leveling system with competency models, career paths, and salary bands.
- Support organizational and change initiatives, enhance cross-team collaboration, and focus on retention and turnover.
- Collaborate within the People Team to manage the employee lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding to HR processes.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in a broad, senior People function (Senior People/HR, HRBP, People Development), preferably in a growing tech or B2B environment.
- Experience working with international teams and multicultural competence.
- Proven ability to develop leaders and build performance and development systems, not just operate them.
- Experience with job leveling, competency models, and/or salary structures.
- Pragmatic hands-on mentality: you build and implement yourself.
- Data-driven approach: derive concrete actions from signals (e.g., employee surveys).
- Experience in technically guiding juniors or colleagues is advantageous.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
