About the Role
As a Social Worker, you will deliver a quality, responsive, safe, and person-centred service to support and promote the well-being of Lambeth residents. Safeguarding Adults is a key focus, and all staff are expected to be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable people. The role requires good organizational and communication skills, familiarity with current legislation and policies, and a commitment to working towards Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification. Professional development opportunities will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a quality, responsive, safe, and person-centred service to support and promote the well-being of Lambeth residents.
- Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable people.
- Support clients through hospital discharge.
Requirements
- Experienced Social Workers committed to working in Mental Health.
- Familiarity with current legislation and policies.
- CV and supporting statement must clearly evidence how you meet the shortlisting criteria on the personal specification marked “A” for application.
- Successful candidates will be asked to apply for an Enhance Certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
- Required to undertake a Cifas check.
