About the Role
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about change and not afraid to challenge the status quo in the beauty industry. This role offers an opportunity to contribute your input, guidance, experience, teamwork, and ideas to navigate the unknown and drive growth.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage a diverse SKU portfolio, including new and existing product developments.
- Translate member and customer insights into regional SKU-level demand plans across different channels using Google Sheets and Supply Chain Planning software.
- Ensure demand forecast accuracy by reflecting market activities, product launch timings, and initiatives through key relationships with Finance, NPD, Growth, and Marketing teams.
- Develop launch forecasts with NPD teams, considering expected demand and potential cannibalization, and share insights during the Commercial Sign off process.
- Assess the impact of promotional activity on demand forecasts and share insights with relevant teams.
- Facilitate and drive key segments of the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) / S&OP process, ensuring consensus across Finance, NPD, and Supply Chain.
- Partner cross-functionally and hold teams accountable to timelines, using data-driven insights to challenge assumptions and mitigate forecast risks.
- Independently build and refine demand forecasts for new regions and markets as the business expands.
- Track, analyse, and report on forecast accuracy and bias, identifying root causes and implementing continuous improvements.
- Align inventory and service level targets with Supply Planning, including quarterly updates of ABCD Sales ranking.
- Pro-actively manage slow-moving or obsolete stocks (SLOBS), collaborating with commercial, marketing, and supply teams to reflect clearance plans in the forecast.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Experience with ERP (e.g., NetSuite) and demand planning tools (e.g., Anaplan) is a plus.
- Strong, proven expertise in forecasting techniques, statistical modeling, and data manipulation.
- Strong interpersonal skills: an impactful communicator who builds strong, collaborative relationships across teams, and is able to influence across all levels.
- High ownership & accountability: a self-starter who operates with high autonomy and an execution-focused mindset, taking end-to-end accountability for the demand signal.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Established experience in demand and/or supply planning, ideally within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or beauty environment.
- Familiarity with S&OP processes and business planning.
