About the Role

Join our Finance team in Heilbronn as a Senior Finance & Accounting Specialist with German language skills. Vishay Precision Group (VPG) is a global leader in precision measurement technologies, serving applications where accuracy, reliability, and repeatability are critical.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, including customer master data, credit limits, and dunning.
• Oversee accounts payable, processing invoices, and managing payment runs.
• Handle all incoming and outgoing payments via various channels.
• Support financial statement preparation under German HGB and assist with monthly/annual closings.
• Ensure local compliance in Germany.
• Record financial data in global systems and support group reporting.
• Review customs declarations and manage post-customs clearance processes.
• Process travel expense reports according to internal policies.
• Create documentation and support Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements.
• Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders and tax advisors in German and English.
• Collaborate closely with various departments and regions (USA, Asia, EU) to ensure smooth financial processes.

Requirements

• Solid education and experience in accounting and financial processes.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
• Experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB, IFRS).
• High accuracy and strong numerical understanding when handling financial data.
• Very good knowledge of Excel and financial software (e.g., SAGE, QAD).
• Experience in SOX compliance is advantageous.
• Professional experience in a multicultural, industrial environment is advantageous.
