About the Role
Join our West Norwood nursery as an Early Years Chef, where you will prepare nutritious meals for children and contribute to a supportive, HEART-driven culture.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present age-appropriate food with minimal wastage
- Manage and communicate dietary requirements to the team
- Partner with staff and parents to promote healthy eating
- Lead cookery club sessions for children
- Support nursery activities including BBQs, fetes, and staff meetings
Requirements
- Previous experience in a domestic or commercial cooking role
- Food Safety CIEH L2 or equivalent (must be passed by day 1)
- Sound knowledge of COSHH
- Ability to work under pressure
- Enhanced DBS check required
