About the Role

Join our West Norwood nursery as an Early Years Chef, where you will prepare nutritious meals for children and contribute to a supportive, HEART-driven culture.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present age-appropriate food with minimal wastage
  • Manage and communicate dietary requirements to the team
  • Partner with staff and parents to promote healthy eating
  • Lead cookery club sessions for children
  • Support nursery activities including BBQs, fetes, and staff meetings

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a domestic or commercial cooking role
  • Food Safety CIEH L2 or equivalent (must be passed by day 1)
  • Sound knowledge of COSHH
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Enhanced DBS check required
