About the Role

The Fund aims to provide support through signposting to agencies and resources, therapeutic grants, and basic needs grants. The Fund is designed for accessibility and involves co-production with victims and survivors. Panel decisions are regularly reviewed for fairness and equity.

Responsibilities

• Read panel papers before meetings.
• Act as a data processor on behalf of the Archbishops’ Council, accepting responsibilities and obligations.
• Do not use, share, or alter information shared for purposes other than the role as independent chair.
• Undertake mandatory training, including Church of England National Safeguarding Basic Awareness training, GDPR(UK) training, and an online training day.

Requirements

• Must accept responsibilities and obligations as a data processor.
• Must complete a Basic DBS check.
• Must provide two references.
• Must complete mandatory training prior to the first panel.
• Must have the skills and experience required for the role.
• Must not use AI to fabricate information or write the entire application.
