About the Role
ThinkRail is an innovative project within JetBrains' Innovation Hub, aiming to develop a declarative programming language for AI-spec-driven development. The goal is to build an infrastructure for efficient AI system creation, ensuring user trust and result flexibility. This role involves shaping core language decisions, tooling, and architecture to turn ThinkRail into a robust system.
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve VS Code and IntelliJ IDEA plugins for ThinkRail.
- Develop our language server, including analysis, completion, diagnostics, and verification.
- Improve the evaluator that turns specs into code and catches spec and code drift.
- Integrate ThinkRail with AI agent frameworks (e.g. Koog, LangGraph, and Spring AI) and protocols like MCP and ACP.
