About the Role
The Catering Coordinator will support the planning and delivery of catering services for Formula E's Paddock, Fan Village, and Premium Experience areas. This role involves event administration, supplier coordination, and on-site event delivery to ensure smooth catering operations globally.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate catering requirements and race-by-race planning for multiple Formula E events.
- Maintain accurate event documentation, databases, and meal booking systems.
- Format menus and collate allergen and food compliance information.
- Act as a key point of contact for catering partners and suppliers.
- Manage accreditation and support contractor onboarding.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely delivery.
- Raise purchase orders, monitor invoices, and track expenditures against departmental budgets.
- Collect and verify allergen details, health and safety records, and HACCP documentation.
- Maintain the Fan Village Production Book with race-specific details.
- Provide on-site problem-solving, including accreditation, menu proofing, logistical support, and monitoring catering standards.
- Maintain operational procedures, templates, and planning documents.
Requirements
- Highly organised and detail-oriented with strong administration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Operational event experience, particularly within catering, greenfield environments, international settings, or motorsports is ideal.
- A food hygiene certificate is highly beneficial.
- Excel at building positive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors.
- Confidently coordinate information across multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and finding practical solutions during live event operations.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Comfortable working with databases, purchase orders, and financial administration.
- Willing to travel internationally throughout the Formula E season, dedicating a minimum of 50 days per year to global event travel.
