About the Role
The Forensic Mental Health Social Work Team works closely with a multidisciplinary team, providing support and advice to adults with severe and enduring mental health problems and significant forensic histories. As a Social Worker, you will deliver a quality, responsive, safe, and person-centred service to support and promote the well-being of Lambeth residents. Safeguarding Adults is a key focus, and all staff are expected to be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable people. The role requires good organisational and communication skills and familiarity with current legislation and policies. We are seeking experienced Social Workers committed to working in Mental Health and towards achieving Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification. Professional development opportunities will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a quality, responsive, safe, and person-centred service to support and promote the well-being of Lambeth residents.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable people.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers.
Requirements
- Familiarity with current legislation and policies.
- Must be eligible to apply for an Enhance Certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
- Must undertake a Cifas check.
