About the Role

SkillNet Solutions is seeking an AI Solutions Architect to collaborate with engineering, product, and architecture teams. This role involves reviewing current AI initiatives, designing reference architectures for multi-agent orchestration and RAG systems, establishing prompt governance, defining platform resiliency, and setting AI safety standards. The goal is to build a sequenced implementation roadmap for AI platform development.

Responsibilities

  • Review current AI initiatives, identify consolidation opportunities, and collaborate on a unified platform.
  • Design reference architecture for multi-agent orchestration, intent classification and routing, and context flow.
  • Collaborate on context management strategy, including token budgets, conversation summarization, and scoped context passing.
  • Design RAG architecture, including chunking strategies, hybrid retrieval, reranking, and citation grounding.
  • Help establish prompt governance practices, including versioning, A/B testing, performance monitoring, and rollback workflows.
  • Define platform resiliency patterns for LLM-dependent systems, including provider failover, circuit breakers, and graceful degradation.
  • Set AI safety and governance standards, including guardrails, PII handling, output filtering, and hallucination mitigation.
  • Partner with leadership to build a sequenced implementation roadmap for execution.

Requirements

  • Designed and shipped multi-agent AI platforms capable of handling thousands of concurrent sessions with graceful failure modes.
  • Built real-time conversational AI systems with proper session memory and context management.
  • Architected RAG pipelines that have addressed chunking tradeoffs, embedding drift, stale indexes, and retrieval quality at scale.
  • Worked across multiple LLM providers (OpenAI, Claude/Bedrock, Gemini, open-source) understanding tradeoffs in cost, latency, quality, and reliability.
  • Designed intent classification systems that handle multi-label, hierarchical taxonomies, ambiguous inputs, and confidence-based routing.
  • Built both real-time and batch ML pipelines and understand their appropriate use cases.
  • Operated in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and can make infrastructure decisions.
