About the Role

Lead the delivery of significant mission-critical infrastructure projects, managing a portfolio of major capital programs from design through commissioning and operational readiness. Shape and mature the Project Management Office (PMO), strengthening governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks to support business growth. This is a highly visible leadership role working with hyperscale customers, executive stakeholders, consultants, and delivery partners.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of major capital programs, from design and construction through to commissioning and operational readiness.
  • Ensure complex, multi-million-dollar projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Play a key role in shaping and maturing our Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Strengthen governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks.
  • Support the continued growth of our Data Centre business.
  • Lead high-performing teams through complex challenges.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading major capital infrastructure projects within data centres or other mission-critical environments.
  • Proven track record delivering complex projects from concept through to commissioning and operational handover.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Experienced in building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders, customers, contractors, and consultants.
  • Proven track record delivering a quality outcome on time and on budget.
  • Confident leading multidisciplinary teams while influencing outcomes across matrix environments.
  • Passionate about developing project governance, improving delivery frameworks, and driving operational excellence.
  • Calm under pressure with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Customer-focused with a collaborative leadership style and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing, agile business where no two projects are the same.
  • Extensive experience delivering major data centre, critical infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
  • Senior Program or Project Management experience across large capital investment portfolios.
  • Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, scheduling, and stage-gate delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing project commercials including budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
  • Demonstrated contract negotiation and supplier management experience.
  • Strong understanding of mission-critical infrastructure including power, cooling, MEP systems, and commissioning.
  • Experience working with enterprise, wholesale, or hyperscale customers.
  • Proven leadership capability with the ability to coach, mentor, and build high-performing project teams.
  • Outstanding communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
