About the Role

Randwick City Council is seeking a Water Truck Team Leader to operate an MR/HR licensed water truck and water various Council assets. This role involves supervising a small team, ensuring safe and efficient work practices, and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Operate an MR/HR licensed water truck.
  • Water traffic calming device gardens, newly established turf and landscape areas, and newly planted street trees.
  • Provide operational support for Council activities, including filling water barriers.
  • Assist with emergency response and recovery operations.
  • Support road and streetscape clean-up works following incidents.
  • Supervise a small team, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate regularly with Supervisors, other Council teams, residents, contractors, and the public.
  • Identify and report safety issues in the field.

Requirements

  • Hold an MR/HR driver's license.
