Responsibilities
- Partner with the HR Director to implement the HR strategy for the Business Services team, driving change initiatives to build engagement and create a sense of belonging.
- Lead and deliver strategic HR projects, including AI upskilling and workforce capability building.
- Support implementation and change management of regional and global BCG initiatives, such as tech enhancements and shared services.
- Act as the ANZ Teaming champion to upskill and activate effective teaming disciplines in all BST ANZ cohorts.
- Provide expert HR advice and coaching to functional line managers on engagement, high performance, teaming, career development, wellbeing, learning & development, and employee relations.
- Oversee HR operations activity across the employee life cycle with the HR Shared Services team and execute HR operations for the broader People Team, including generating letters and updating the HRIS database (Workday).
- Coordinate and assist with analysis and presentations for management, executive meetings, and staff engagement sessions.
- Support broader people activities with the People Team, including diversity and inclusion and health and safety.
- Partner with Shared Services to ensure efficient delivery of operational HR processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the annual Performance and Development Process (Perform, Develop, Grow) and coach managers and employees to improve review quality.
- Act as a thought partner to BST Managers and employees throughout the annual performance process.
- Serve as a Workday systems expert, providing best practice guidance, training, and acting as the main point of contact for local users.
- Drive the compensation and reward cycle by preparing, analyzing, and communicating data.
- Provide ad-hoc benchmark data to support the Global Compensation team.
- Prepare and distribute salary review and bonus communications.
- Design and evolve a best-in-class learning and development offering for a diverse BST population.
- Continuously review and enhance the annual learning curriculum to meet evolving business needs.
- Manage L&D budgets and oversee program delivery, including facilitation.
Requirements
- A tertiary level qualification in Human Resources or related field.
- Demonstrated prior experience in a similar generalist or business partner role, preferably in a fast-paced professional services environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Proficiency in AI platforms, including ChatGPT/Claude.
- Workday experience is desired.
- Experience with Saba, Online Learning Platform.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Displays a high level of professional conduct, including establishing trust and maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to work autonomously with a high level of resourcefulness and responsiveness.
- Organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to plan ahead.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- High level of integrity and proven ability to generate trust.
