About the Role
DXC's Insurance Software and BPS (ISB) helps insurers modernize and run core operations at scale by combining deep industry expertise, proven software platforms, and innovative AI-driven solutions. You’ll directly shape how the world's leading insurers operate by helping to transform the policy, underwriting, and claims systems that millions of people rely on every day.
Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations regarding self-insured workers' compensation.
- Plan and conduct audits of self-insurance practices and claims management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to workers' compensation self-insurance.
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on compliance issues, best practices, and changes in legislation.
- Identify potential compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including claims and finance, to ensure cohesive compliance efforts.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in legislation to enhance the compliance program.
Requirements
- Experience in workers' compensation, compliance, or risk management, preferably in a self-insured environment.
- Strong understanding of workers' compensation laws and regulations, especially related to self-insurance.
Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
