This position requires a significant level of accuracy and responsibility to maintain the overall price integrity in the assigned store. The role verifies weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage across all departments. Responsibilities
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes.
- Change shelf signs and tags.
- Update promotional signs.
- Ensure compliance with all company and governmental regulations.
- Verify weekly ad price changes.
- Ensure promotional price accuracy.
- Maintain pricing signage in all departments.
- Work quickly with accuracy to support pricing integrity.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training, or acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to analyze total scanning programs.
- Ability to properly maintain necessary reports and schedules.
- Ability to understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude.
- Ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
- Ability to read price tags, create signs, post price tags and signs.
- Good vision required to read and set signs.
- Ability to staple, scan, and use a computer to activate new pricing.
- Ability to use a step ladder.
- Ability to vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 lbs., from 1” to 34”, up to a distance of 8 feet for up to 1 hour.
- Ability to walk up to 4 miles per 8 hours.
- Ability to conduct repetitive crouching/kneeling/squatting to access a point 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.
