About the Role
Engage and develop Relationship Advisors to provide high-quality member service through a consultative, needs-based interaction model. Grow branch business to meet goals and support operational integrity.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop FSRs to drive branch goal attainment and ensure high-quality service.
- Create an environment of accountability by setting clear expectations, goals, and objectives.
- Monitor branch results daily and provide regular feedback to direct reports.
- Ensure direct reports are trained on processes, product knowledge, and cross-selling credit union products and services.
- Collaborate with partners in Mortgage, Wealth Management, and Insurance to achieve organizational goals.
- Support branch operational integrity through staff coaching and reinforcement of policies and procedures.
- Assist with branch opening and closing processes as needed.
- Enhance revenue, reduce expenses, create efficient processes, and improve operations.
- Submit annual budget recommendations to the Branch Manager.
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements.
- Participate in all required and recommended training, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
- Participate on Credit Union teams, projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
- Embrace and apply HVCU’s guiding principles, including Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Lean Six Sigma practices.
- Support the Credit Union’s initiatives by demonstrating teamwork and professionalism.
- Responsible for regular and predictable attendance, including punctuality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years equivalent experience for each undergraduate year not completed.
- NYS Notary Public license achieved within 12 months of obtaining position.
- Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a financial institution or retail environment.
- Minimum 1 year of sales and customer service experience in a financial institution or retail environment.
