About the Role
Expand market share in East Japan (Tokyo, Tohoku) to accelerate business growth. Develop new business partners and end-users, while improving customer satisfaction through prompt support.
Responsibilities
- Focus on fast growth and winning new opportunities.
- Manage a customer portfolio to expand share of wallet.
- Systematically screen customer base for new opportunities, generate leads, and maintain the CRM pipeline.
- Identify, execute plans, and develop new customers.
- Provide appropriate contact, service, and support to meet sales targets.
- Monitor sales against targets and identify necessary remedial actions.
- Plan own visit schedule according to customer service levels.
- Manage sales support activities in the designated area.
- Collect, report, and analyze customer feedback and market trends.
- Identify, target, and implement approved sales strategies.
- Coordinate visit schedules with the assigned Technical Representative.
- Plan, execute, and report on sales activities.
- Promote a positive company image and develop long-term customer relations.
- Identify business opportunities, resolve problems, and request management support.
- Deliver progress reports and recommend marketplace approach improvements.
- Cooperate with other departments for service solution implementation.
- Inform line manager about required sales support levels and coordinate activities.
- Systematically update CRM with customer information.
- Possess expert knowledge of product/service features and benefits.
- Educate customers on product lines, IT support tools, and non-paint assortments with the Technical Representative.
- Advise management on training types, recruit participants, and gain customer commitment for attendance.
- Monitor and report on the status of formal customer complaint procedures.
- Comply with all applicable corporate and site policies/procedures regarding personal conduct and HSE standards.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of sales experience in the VR market or equivalent skill.
- Communication skill in Japanese.
- Logical thinking skill.
- English skill to read/write emails.
- 80% travel is required.
