About the Role
This position requires proficient time management skills to execute cleaning tasks effectively. Responsibilities include vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and mopping designated areas according to a set cleaning schedule. Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and residents is essential, using appropriate channels for support, guidance, and addressing concerns promptly.
Responsibilities
- Vacuums, sweeps, dusts and mops all designated areas
- Follows cleaning schedule
- Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values
- Considers resident lifestyles and personal choice
- Maintains effective interpersonal relationships with others, utilising appropriate channels for assistance guidance and concerns
- Responds to emergency cleaning requirements as directed
Requirements
- Evidence of Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
- Successful completion of pre-employment physical and reference checks
- NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
- Willingness to attend a paid 1-day (Monday) induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
- Effective communication skills and the ability to develop understanding relationships with residents.
- Experience working in hospitality service roles, preferably as a cleaner in an aged care/hospital environment
