About the Role

WeChat Pay is a mobile payment solution that connects people, services, and businesses. The WeChat Pay team in Japan is responsible for expanding the service's presence in the Japanese market.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Business Development (BD) team to strengthen customer relationships and explore business opportunities.
  • Work with Key Account (KA) merchants or institutions on onboarding, promotional materials, and campaigns.
  • Conduct market research, including store inspections, market dynamics analysis, and user research.
  • Arrange offline material deployment for areas or scenarios that are difficult for institutions to cover.
  • Explore collaboration opportunities with university clubs, core commercial areas, and within the WeChat ecosystem to promote user community marketing penetration.
  • Observe consumption scenarios, conduct research and data analysis.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic personality.
  • Fluent in both Chinese and Japanese for communication and collaboration with headquarters and international stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and execution abilities, capable of producing high-quality summary and analysis reports.
  • High level of proactiveness and self-management skills, able to independently and proactively drive and complete work tasks.
  • Familiarity with the WeChat and WeChat Pay product ecosystem.

Salary/Compensations

  • Negotiable (with salary increases/bonuses)
  • Includes a fixed overtime allowance for 35 hours per month; excess hours will be compensated separately.
