About the Role

Provide strategic business analysis across a diverse portfolio of projects within the Portfolio Management Office, supporting the delivery of solutions that advance University priorities. Partner with stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into clear business requirements and actionable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities across multiple projects while maintaining alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Deliver clear, high-quality requirements, specifications and documentation that support successful solution delivery.
  • Build effective stakeholder partnerships that enable informed decision-making and consensus across diverse groups.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend practical, value-driven solutions.
  • Contribute to measurable project benefits through risk management, governance and benefits realisation practices.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement across academic and professional domains, gathering, validating and prioritising requirements.
  • Analyse business needs, evaluate processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to solution design, implementation and change adoption.
  • Champion consistent business analysis practices.
  • Support benefits realisation activities.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced analysts.
  • Ensure all outputs comply with governance, privacy, security and data management requirements.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Analysis, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading business analysis activities on complex projects within large organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Expertise in business process modelling, requirements elicitation, solution specification and process improvement.
  • Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Proficiency in tools such as BPMN, UML, Visio, JIRA and Confluence.
  • Must provide evidence of full-time working rights in Australia at application.

Salary/Compensations

  • $118,969 – $132,069 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading
  • up to AUD 118969 - yearly
