About the Role

Join our global team as an online teacher for Consumer Math, equipping students with practical money skills in a vibrant, live online classroom. You'll teach motivated students from around the world in real time, supported by CGA’s technology, curriculum, and community.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality live lessons in Consumer Math, tailored to the needs of a diverse, international group of students.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and digital tools to create an interactive and supportive online classroom.
  • Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adapt teaching to ensure strong learning outcomes.
  • Plan and communicate clear course schedules, detailing lesson content and assessment timelines.
  • Lead professional, interactive live sessions, making full use of CGA’s online learning resources and technology.
  • Set meaningful homework, design and administer assessments, and give constructive feedback.
  • Develop high-quality educational materials, including tests and exams.
  • Manage the online classroom on Canvas, keeping it well organised with assignments and assessments for easy student access.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience at high school (Grades 9–12) in a school setting.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team.
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for innovative, technology-enabled education.
  • Knowledge of a US high school curriculum and associated external examinations.
