About the Role

Join ASX, a leading global securities exchange and trusted market operator, as part of the Digital and Enterprise Technology team. You will deliver compelling experiences through digital engagement platforms, supporting a customer-centric digital strategy and driving innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Salesforce delivery team to define and refine requirements, translating them into robust Salesforce solutions.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, and Data 360 using declarative and programmatic approaches.
  • Develop and design solutions using Apex, LWC, VisualForce, Omni Studio, and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Work on digital transformation initiatives, including continuous improvement of the core platform and delivery of new customer-facing features.
  • Implement and maintain Copado pipelines for version control, CI/CD, automated testing, and release governance.
  • Enforce data governance standards, including access controls, data classification, lineage documentation, and field-level security.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, change data capture, and middleware tools.
  • Participate in solution design, estimation, and backlog prioritization within an agile, cross-functional delivery squad using SCRUM.
  • Support performance tuning, governor limit management, and proactive monitoring of platform health.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with demonstrable delivery across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud.
  • Ability to develop in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, LWC, and Java.
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce DX and agile delivery practices.
  • Good understanding of the underlying Salesforce architecture.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns for Salesforce, including REST API, Java API, Streaming API, and ESB.
  • Previous experience working with DevOps principles, with exposure to Copado and GitLab.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Data 360, including data stream configuration, DMOs, identity resolution, and calculated insights.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, field-level security, org-wide defaults).
  • Experience designing analytics solutions that comply with privacy, consent, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders to refine requirements.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.
  • Candidates must be legally authorised to work in Australia on a permanent basis without any restrictions.
