About the Role
As a Product Specialist on the Trauma Team in Sydney, you will manage an established territory, driving the sale and adoption of Trauma products. This role offers significant growth opportunities while focusing on customer needs and surgical improvements.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing innovative sales strategies to promote trauma products.
- Actively managing consignment inventory and logistics of loan equipment.
- Building trusted partnerships and leveraging data insights within the territory.
- Supporting surgeons in the operating theatre during cases.
- Conducting product demonstrations and providing accurate product information.
- Delivering regular training for theatre personnel.
- Partnering with internal Professional Education and Marketing teams for advanced training.
Requirements
- Degree qualified.
- Proven skills in hospital sales and territory management.
- Confidence to work effectively under pressure in an operating theatre environment.
- A positive attitude to achieving results.
- Flexibility to occasionally work after office hours.
- Ability to participate in a rotating weekend on-call roster.
- Demonstrated ability in identifying customer pain points, expectations, and implicit needs, and proactively seeking solutions.
- Commercial acumen.
- Ability to develop relationships and have commercial conversations with a diverse range of customers.
- Must have rights to work in Australia.
- Must have a reliable car.
- Must have a valid Driver Licence.
