About the Role
This role is responsible for leading soft services facilities management across Japan, ensuring a high-quality, safe, and efficient workplace environment aligned with corporate standards. You will oversee day-to-day workplace operations, vendor management, space coordination, and employee experience, acting as a key interface between employees, landlords, and service providers.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day soft services operations, including cleaning, pantry services, office upkeep, and workplace environment management
- Conduct regular site walkthroughs to ensure service quality and workplace standards are consistently met
- Ensure all services are delivered in line with corporate standards and SLAs
- Oversee office services including meeting room readiness, MFDs, and shared office infrastructure
- Local authority liaison (Fire dept / Labor bureau)
- Business continuity & disaster preparedness
- Manage workspace planning, staff moves, churn activities, and office reconfigurations
- Maintain space management systems and support space allocation and cost tracking
- Coordinate with internal teams (including IT) to support seamless workplace changes
- Maintain workplace data including floor plans, seating records, and employee allocations
- Manage vendors across soft services (cleaning, pantry, office supplies, support services)
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and drive continuous service improvement
- Liaise with landlords and building management for facilities-related matters
