About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will actively participate in the day-to-day execution of client activities under the guidance of senior team members. You will support seniors in managing client relationships and integrated communication programs, aiming to satisfy clients, generate new business, and contribute to the company's corporate strategy and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Stay updated on clients, their industries, and competitors.
- Organize and participate in client brainstorm meetings and calls, asking informed questions and making creative recommendations.
- Draft high-quality, actionable client-facing communications, including status reports and campaign summaries.
- Utilize Burson proprietary tools like Digital Catalyst Cards and the Creative Catalyst Network.
- Implement Burson research and measurement methodologies to support account teams.
- Understand the media landscape and assist in developing customized media lists.
- Build media relationships and leverage knowledge to benefit clients.
- Assist in press material development and support press event preparation.
- Stay updated on social media trends and build relationships with influencers and community contacts.
- Actively listen during client meetings for opportunities to grow relationships.
- Identify and convey potential new business opportunities from social media and other channels to senior team members.
- Assist senior members in developing case studies and new business proposals.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement effective client strategies.
- Be receptive to team ideas and suggestions, and support team members.
- Consistently demonstrate integrity, credibility, and build trust through inclusive behavior.
- Record time accurately in Maconomy.
- Inform supervisors of time allocation for profitable business management.
- Support senior team members in managing vendor relationships, costs, and invoicing.
- Utilize Burson's intranet and resources, keeping your profile updated.
- Act as a brand ambassador and assist in recruiting talent by knowing company capabilities.
- Adhere to Burson confidentiality, disclosure agreements, and code of ethics/conduct.
